PERIO PROTECT

 

Perio Protect is a comprehensive, therapeutic approach for treatment of gum disease. The approach combines in office cleanings with the comfortable Perio Tray®. The Perio Tray is similar to a mouth-guard, but has a unique sealing system to deliver medication below the gums. Patients wear the Perio Tray in the comfort of their own home, between visits to the office. You simply place the medication in the tray and wear it for 10-15 minutes a day, at a time that is convenient for you. The medication fights infections within the gum tissues. It’s that simple. It also has the added benefit of whitening your teeth as the medication contains a peroxide!

 

The Perio Protect treatment helps you attain a more effective approach to your home-care routine. The bacteria that cause inflammation and disease deep in the gums are extremely difficult to remove with your toothbrush, floss, or mouth rinses alone. The Perio Tray is able to apply medication deep into the pockets of the infected gum tissue, that are otherwise difficult to access using toothbrushes, dental floss, or mouth rinses. The Perio Protect Tray was designed in the most minimally invasive way possible in order to help you manage periodontal disease between visits.
